Alsace sits on the Vosges foothills, sheltered, dry, and one of the most geologically varied wine regions in France. Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris share the grand cru hillsides; Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois fill the valley floors. Visiting is easier here than anywhere else in France.

How Alsace visits work
